2019 Projects

 

Horizon Heights, Unite Student Accommodation, Skelhorne Street, Liverpool

Handover: Summer 2019

Comprising of 1,085 bedrooms across dual tower blocks of 21 and 19 storeys respectively, this scheme is set within Liverpool city centre and directly opposite Lime Street Station. BPP were appointed to develop the SBEM and EPCs for both the accommodation as well as ground floor commercial space. Corridor over-heating studies were also carried out during the progression of the development, to aid architects and engineers with their design.

Brinell Building, Brighton

Handover: Spring 2019

BPP are proud to have participated with the development of this 65,000 sq. ft. 7-storey office development located just minutes from Brighton train station. The development offers the combination of contemporary design with sustainability and excellent amenities as core-values. Carrying out SBEMs and EPCs, the project scored an EPC rating of ‘A’, as well as achieving BREEAM ‘Excellent’ under our BREEAM New Construction 2014 assessment.

2018 Projects

 

Cadogan Hotel, London

Handover: Winter 2018

A multi-million redevelopment of a prominent Victorian red-brick building, steeped in history and located in London’s Sloane Street, the 5* hotel handed over in late 2018. Set within the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, BPP carried out a BREEAM Bespoke 2008 assessment in which we are proud to say it achieved a BREEAM rating of ‘Excellent’.

Newgate Development, Hotel & Student Accommodation, Newcastle

Handover: Summer/Autumn 2018

Comprising of a 9-storey 575-bedroom student accommodation as well as a 265 bedroom 4* hotel with business facilities, and a large ground level retail space, this mixed-use development is located within Newcastle city centre. BPP were appointed to carry out SBEMs for all aspects of the project, as well as BREEAM 2011 assessments, in which all achieved a BREEAM rating of ‘Very Good’.

2017 Projects

 

Westminster Quarter, London

Handover: Winter 2017

 Comprised of two buildings which provide a total of 102 residential units as well as a 3,700 sq. ft commercial unit, this development boasts a central London location. Each apartment was created in line with ‘Code for Sustainable Homes’, and the residential roof terrace has undisturbed views of the Houses of Parliament. BPP carried out SAP assessments, as well as a BREEAM Code for Sustainable Homes 2010 assessment which achieved Level 4 and CO2 ‘B’ ratings.

Catherine House, Student Accommodation, Portsmouth

Handover: Summer 2017

Consisting of a new construction as well as the conversion of an existing building, Zurich House, these adjoining buildings were developed to provide 1,000 bedrooms in a well-established residential accommodation area. BPP were appointed to carry out SBEMs alongside an LZC assessment, as well as BREEAM New Construction 2014 assessment in which the project obtained BREEAM ‘Excellent’.
